Trinity River Adventure Inn~Steel Bridge River Cabins at 173 Thistle Lane, Douglas City, California.

We had planned on staying two nights, however, due to unforeseen circumstances, we ended up staying several extra days. Steph and Heidi were the best. They were so understanding and accommodating, such a breath of fresh air.

We stayed in the Carriage House. The historic cabin was well appointed, well maintained and very clean and comfortable. Our dogs were welcomed but I saw no evidence of previous pets inside or outside of the cabin.

The location was perfect for us. It is right on the beautiful Trinity River, reasonably close to town, but far enough away from highway noise that we could sit and watch the river roll by and listen to the natural sound effects surrounding us. We had the place to ourselves. The grounds are clean, well maintained and include 100 plus year old trees in every camera angle. We will stay again, hopefully soon.
